What It's About
A listener is ready to launch a website. Is Squarespace a good platform?
Notes from Chris
Episode 1166
Over the past twenty years I’ve probably had 30 or more websites. This number is websites that I’ve actually made for some kind of project that was publicly revealed, not just failed ideas, false starts, domains I registered that I never did anything with, etc. Even though I don’t build websites myself (I don’t do design and I do only very basic coding), I’ve learned a lot along the way through trial and error. The good news about choosing a platform for your website is that there aren’t many mistakes you can make, at least not many that you can’t easily recover from if you decide to switch to something else later. It falls into the category of what I call reversible decisions. Still, there are some things you should know on the front end that might make it easier later. If you’d like to save time and work more efficiently, you might appreciate the question we have today from Ryan."You’ve talked about using Wordpress a lot, and I think you’ve mentioned some other service as well. I’ve been looking at Squarespace, and it seems easier to me. Is there any reason why I shouldn’t use it to for my new business?"Listen to today's episode to learn more... SEE ALSO:
