What It's About
Today’s caller is experiencing Zoom fatigue. It's like a second pandemic!
Notes from Chris
Episode 1437
Welcome to a new week! One of the unique problems that 2020 has presented is the fact that work life and routines have changed for millions of people. It’s hard enough to adjust to working from home on your own if you haven’t done that before. If you live with someone who also works from home, that’s even more of an adjustment. If you have kids who are now going to school remotely (or at least attempting to), the pressure becomes even more next-level. So today’s caller is experiencing Zoom fatigue. After so many hours spent in online meetings for her job, where does she find the energy to work on something for herself?"Hi this is Kelsey from Thousand Oaks and I’ve been listening to the show for a couple of years now. Thanks for the great puns and helpful advice. When 2020 started, I had…. “start a side hustle" on my list of goals. I was eager and excited, and I worked on different ideas throughout the spring. One of my first plans won't work now because of COVID, so I've tried to think of others. My challenge is that I'm now working remotely and spending six hours a day or more on Zoom. When I finish, the last thing I want to do is spend more time online. I don't see this changing for me anytime in the near future, so should I just put my other plans on hold, or is there a way to persevere? Thanks for your help."Listen to today's episode to learn more...
