Episode 312
Leonardo Pereznieto isn’t your average artist. He was, in some ways, a child prodigy. His first painting exhibit was located at “Goya Gallery” in Mexico City when he was eight years old. He grew up seeing his art in galleries in Mexico, The United States, France, Italy, and Germany. His sculptures and paintings even received numerous awards! Now, before I continue you might be thinking that Leonardo had a bit of an unfair advantage when it came to starting a popular YouTube channel called Fine Art Tips, but it really had nothing to do with his career as a painter and sculptor at all. In fact, despite his critical acclaim, he was struggling to pay the bills with his art. His YouTube success wasn’t a result of career prestige or startup capital—it was the result of just messing around. After nearly a year of random uploads, he had several thousand views and over a hundred subscribers. Leonardo realized he was onto something, so he set up YouTube ads and began collecting revenue each time a viewer watched an ad before a video. His videos now receive 60,000 views daily, his channel has over two million subscribers, and his videos have been watched over fifty million times. And, not to mention, he’s making great money. His side hustle has painted quite a pretty picture! MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE:- ArtistLeonardo.com & Fine Art Tips: Learn more about Leonardo and his art tutorial videos on his websites
