Today's caller has made this their "year of the hustle" and is working on three independent ideas. They don't compete with each other, they can each be done on a flexible schedule—but they worry about not being able to give their all to any of them.

The general answer: focusing on only one idea makes sense if your time is extremely limited, if you're worried about getting overwhelmed, or if one idea is clearly more profitable than the others.

Chris's recommendation: drop one. But more importantly, identify the key actions that would cause any of them to take off. We often get sidetracked by little things that have nothing to do with profitability and growth. More than just choosing the number of projects, it's important to spend your limited side hustle time on those key actions that will really make a difference.
