Words of Wisdom
Sasha's first group of five women came just from marketing to her own email list, from her primary business as a life coach for women. Initially that was her only marketing, and it was easy and effective for awhile. Eventually, she started doing a bit more marketing beyond her own circles. She’s posted in Meetup groups, and recently started doing some Facebook ads.
Fun Fact
Sasha’s clients range in age from 28 to 65, and one of her favorite stories comes from a 60-year-old woman that had recently divorced her husband of 35 years. This client came on a Tango Adventure trip to fulfill an item on her bucket list—dance tango in Buenos Aires—and Sasha got to help her check that off the list.

Episode 74
Many people who are interested in starting a side hustle have expressed a desire to start one from an existing hobby. As we've seen in previous episodes (see Ep. 16), it's good to start a side hustle centered around something you're excited about. But if you love something and want to turn it into a hustle, make sure you’d love teaching it or helping other people experience it too, as these are not always the same thing as doing it yourself. Playing golf is different than teaching other people how to play golf. Knitting for yourself is different from teaching others how to knit or creating kits that you can sell online. First, ask yourself what you enjoy about whatever those things are for you, and then make sure that you'll still enjoy whatever it is you want to do while transforming it into a hustle. Fortunately, this situation worked out well for Sasha. She loved everything about tango, and she also loved sharing it with beginners and introducing it to them. Like Benny in yesterday's episode, Sasha also utilized Facebook ads in order to draw attention to Tango Adventures. Growing your business using Facebook ads is totally worth experimenting with, but you should also have a decent idea of what you're doing because each ad you run costs money... and those costs can add up quickly.
